Holly Swisher is a professor in the Department of Mathematics at Oregon State University. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2005, and was a Ross Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the Ohio State University before joining Oregon State in 2006.

Professor Swisher completed ADVANCE seminar training in equity, inclusion, and justice at Oregon State in 2018, and InclusiveExcellence at OSU (IE@OSU) training towards creating equitable opportunities for students to learn in inclusive environments in 2019-2020. Her IE@OSU project was to improve student affect for first year graduate students in linear algebra.
