Much of his effort has focused on understanding the interface between formal and informal science learning settings, including field trip experiences, and exploring the challenges of and opportunities for collaboration between these two sectors.
He currently serves on the Editorial Board of the journal Visitor Studies and has recently been appointed Editor for the ‘Science Learning in Everyday Life’ Section of the journal Science Education.
