Catherine Law
Catherine Law received her Bachelors in Sociology at UCLA, a teaching license from Sacramento State University, and her Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy from Portland State University. Since 2009 she has served as director of Oregon State University's STEM Academy, engaging K-12 youth in programs designed to increase college attendance and participation in the STEM fields. Much of her work reflects a desire to support diversity and inclusion within STEM. Through design and implementation of programs that shape the experiences of students and instructors alike, Dr. Law is committed to broadening minority participation, providing mentorship to youths, increasing education rates, and reinforcing individual's thirsts for lifelong learning.
