Ann Sitomer
Ann has worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar on the ESTEME@OSU project and as a Senior Researcher on InclusiveExcellence@OSU. Both of these projects focus on transforming learners' experiences in postsecondary STEM. Ann brings 25 years of experience teaching introductory mathematics, primarily in the community college setting. She is a researcher in mathematics education, earning a PhD from Portland State University in 2014. Ann's current research leverages an organizational change perspective to explore the impact of educational change initiatives on teaching and learning in introductory STEM. Ann is the PI and research lead on Teaching for PROWESS, a project that focuses on the adoption and adaption of active learning principles, including educators' work toward fostering equity in their design and facilitation choices in mathematics 'classrooms' at two-year colleges.
